RickRick began exercise at age ten by lifting scrapes of steel (in place of dumbbells and barbells) that his uncle brought home from his factory job which marked the beginning of his quest for the fitness Holy Grail. Fifty-five years later, the quest continues. The journey has traveled through the worlds of bodybuilding, power lifting, martial arts, distance running, cycling and a thirty year long involvement with rowing. All of this “doing stuff” was supported by a life long study of exercise physiology, bio-mechanics, exercise program design and nutrition.
